I recently discovered this channel because I wanted to hear more people’s thoughts on this album. I am really enjoying your perspectives and I love the way you express your opinions. I loved this album on the first listen, and its growing on me even more after each listen. This album definitely requires time to marinate and grow on people. Favorite songs currently are Father Time and Savior but man I find a reason to enjoy each track.

man kendrick lamar is my favorite but for the past years i’ve been listening to rappers like nba youngboy who’s my second favorite. listening to this album had me questioning why i listen to anything other than his complex and relatable beautiful music. this album was amazing and had me crying by “mother i sober “

Great substance and courage, but not great musically in my opinion. It's an important album for content, but I can't imagine people listening to it casually, because it is not easy to listen to. I think music can be great musically AND have incredible, thoughtful content. This album only has the latter.

was just so good on every level, from production to lyricism.

I’m not one to discredit an artist of their artistic expression but this album missed for me. So far Denzel has the better album til further notice

was all the emotions he feels. MMATBS is him peeling back the layers of his own soul and being vulnerable to us. At least that’s how I feel about it

it's at number 3 for me right now. ahead of damn. but behind gkmc and tpab. I'm only on listen 4 but it just keeps getting better. I'm at the point that I think every song (interludes included) is a 7/10 or better. maybe I'm just a kendrick Stan, but I think this is gonna have major staying power for me

you meant the "Jesus crown" and not the thorny crown

Like Donda, I am standing by this album off rip. People seem to be mixed on it but this album will be underrated for a while. I’m guessing this will be on a lot of top 10 and top 5 lists at the end of the year.

The only thing I didn’t like about the album was that there was no TDE features on his last TDE album 😪 I was hoping for a Schoolboy Q or Jay Rock feature but nonetheless masterpiece album like always ! 💿

Kendrick Lamar's (Mr.Morale and The Big Steppers) 1st week sales are projected to hit 350k. For comparison Kanye's (Donda) did 310k 1st week sales however Kanye didn't wait 5 yrs to drop. Also unfortunately Drake's (CLB aka Certified Lover Boy) did 613k in 1st week sales. Take this as you may.

This album is one of the best things I’ve ever listened too

It was mid, let’s stop the dick riding, damn is way better. We don’t need 5 days listened to it 3 times and it’s replay value drops down every time. A few great songs. The visuals are dope. Other than that it’s not that great. J cole has officially surpassed Kendrick and I think he’s surpassed drake. Cole on top right now

Kendrick's album exposed the destructive nature of the hood and how it causes harm to all those within it. He shares how he was traumatized in his neighborhood and was able to break the cycle with his children.
The Heart Part 5 set the tone,
"Hurt people hurt people. Fuck calling it culture."
Good shit!!!

This album has 100 on Metacritic, that's fucking INSANE bruh

I feel this album was just personal and experimental for Kendrick. Not his greatest banger for sure but okay enough. Donda is still my favorite so far this year tho.

The one thing that’s really weird to me is how much Kanye got trashed on for having Manson on his project who is an alleged rapist meanwhile everyone is perfectly fine with Kendrick having a self admitted rapist on his project in Kodak, and some are even praising Kodak. Idk the hypocrisy is wild then again K Dot got like all 10/10’s within a day so there’s a ton of bias for him in The industry I guess.

I find it interesting that whit people can like this album that’s dope speaking from a black man’s perspective and what goes on in our community other races still enjoy that’s really good

Kendrick is the kind of success story that encourages me as a underground artist with a small following. Seeing how he’s developed his skills and slowly blown up after seizing each and every opportunity he’s been giving has been inspirational! Mans has quickly become a mainstay in the industry and for good reason. Dude is too nice! I know if I put in the work, I can reach a larger audience some day too, but for now, I’m happy being a supporter. My turn will come too. Salute to Kendrick🔥

This entire album felt like one big musical or play. Every single song I kept seeing pictures and videos in my head. Wouldn’t be surprised if he drops a visual companion to this like Beyoncé-Lemonade.

This album is so raw and real ,it's not a club banger it's real life calm down listen to if you overwhelmed. Whether you like the album or not I feel you that can get at least one song that comes into your everyday life Great job Kendrick Lamar

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." -John 3:16(bible) "the wages of sin is death"-Bible. Therefore God the judge has given man the death sentence due to man's sin, but because of God's mercy, he gave himself(god incarnate/jesus)to die on a cross for the sins of the world. That means he paid our fine and if we trust in him God can legally let us go guilt free in court/judgment day and have everlasting life with Him!
"Go and sin no more!"-Jesus <3

I don't feel his art is for me. I just don't get it. It's not hummable danceable singable nothing musical to inspire or move me. It's all about h. Narcissistic music. Not about us or our experience.
